EARLY PREVIEW · 19 OCTOBER 2026

Your practice,
with a little privacy.

This page describes the current browser preview, not a future native app.

What is saved

Preferences, favorites, completed practice days, seen affirmation IDs, and your unfinished session are stored in this browser’s local storage. There is no Dear Within account or cloud sync. Changing browser or device will not carry your history across.

Typing and listening

Typed practice is checked in your browser and is not submitted to a Dear Within server. We do not save what you type. Guide playback uses your browser’s speech synthesis and available voices; the voice provider may process text remotely. No ElevenLabs service is connected in this preview.

If you choose to speak

After consent and microphone permission, your browser’s speech service recognizes your words. Some browsers send audio to their provider for processing. The provider’s own privacy terms and retention practices apply. Dear Within does not record or store audio or transcripts; transcripts are used temporarily to check your repetition. You can use Write it in instead.

Hosting

We have not added advertising or analytics scripts. The hosting service may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to deliver and protect the site. This review version is privately hosted through ChatGPT Sites and may require owner sign-in.

Your controls

In Settings, export a copy of your practice data or erase it from this browser. Clearing site data also erases it. Browser microphone permissions can be revoked in your browser settings. There is no payment collection in this preview.

Preview feedback

This is a private development preview. Please share feedback with the person who invited you to review it. A public support contact will be added before an open release.
